Ideally situated on the west coast of Scotland, Ullapool is a well established
port and has a long maritime history. It is renowned as one of the best natural
harbours in the UK, with pier berths accessible to the majority of vessels at
all states of the tide. We also have safe all weather anchorages, those having
been used successfully by the Klondyking fleet for many years.
As the main ferry terminal to the Outer Hebrides, Ullapool has excellent road
links to the train station and airport in Inverness and beyond. Inverness is
approximately a one hour drive from Ullapool and Aberdeen takes 3 - 4 hours.
Ullapool is an ideal location for any vessels working on or around the North
West coast that would require any equipment, supplies, provisions or crew
changes.
